TMA-supported infrastructure investments helped cut waiting and travel times along key trade corridors. At the borders, One Stop Border Posts brought agencies closer and improved the flow of people, goods and vehicles. Along corridors, road upgrades reduced congestion and made access to ports and markets more reliable. Interventions contributed to the following:

  • 83% reduction in crossing time at Nimule-Elegu One Stop Border Post on the crossing point between Uganda and South Sudan.
  • 58% reduction in crossing time at Goli–Mahagi One Stop Border Posts on the crossing point between Uganda and DRC.
  • 25% reduction in travel time and 40% lower transport costs through the Hargeisa Bypass
